James's Favorites: Bear, playing catch, Alabama football, reading, donuts, mashed potatoes, pancakes, syrup, ice cream and movie night. Wants to be a baseball player.
Natalie's Favorites: nail polish, lipstick, bacon, knick-knacks, pancakes, Fixer Upper, pedicures, playing "office" (Ms. Natalie"). Wants to be a painter.
If Luke had a chalkboard, his favorites would include: PB&J, donuts--really all food--Bear, Legos, lego men, costumes, Paw Patrol, giving hugs (huggie time) and riding his bike
James's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Brown, retired, and her replacement is Natalie's new teacher: Mrs. Manion! Mrs. Manion also has a daughter in kindergarten, and Natalie and Scarlett are new BFFs. It took Natalie a while to warm up to her new class, but she is doing so well!
Mrs. K is James's 2nd grade teacher, and we are so thankful for her! James is doing amazing in class, and I think we had the best parent/teacher conference to date. This boy is loving school!
Best part of teaching: seeing these two sweeties during the day!
And I LOVE when they come to my classroom!!
I don't know how to rotate the next fews images, but I had to include them. When I accepted the position at SBS, we had already signed our contract for Luke to attend Ascension. In order for us to be released from owing the full year's tuition, Luke had to attend the first 14 days of school. It was tough: he went to SBS for almost two weeks while I had in-service days, then to Ascension and then back to SBS. I didn't want to make too big of a deal-we all know he doesn't do well with transition-so no "first day of school" photo for the little boy. Oh well, he isn't in uniforms, so it doesn't count, right? But look at his "pretend first day of school" at Ascension---see, he doesn't do well with change.
