Springtime in Houston

We had about two months of glorious weather here in Houston.

Natalie and I taking in Finding Neverland.  It was a little bit more mature than I anticipated, but she loved just being there.

Just like Natalie, Luke loves "driving" around the cul-da-sac when I come home from work.

Look at this sweet girl--not much has changed

One morning before school Luke was in a pouty mood, so I asked James to cheer him up.  These two love each other so much.  Monkey see, monkey do.

Look at these cute little helpers!  Barbie and I both enjoyed their services

Paps came to town for a few days for work, and we loved having him here!  There was a lot of baseball--backyard and professional.

James loved every minute of the baseball game!  He's at such a  fun age---he watched every play and was upset that we left in the middle of the 7th.  I mean, is there a better picture of childhood that this?

Natalie also had fun at the game---Papi gave her her first sip of (diet) coke, and the girl LOVED it!

She also ate the majority of the popcorn

Brad is now mid-thirties!

Happy 35th birthday, Brad! To celebrate, we went to Benihana, at Brad's request, as a family.  I haven't set foot in Benihana in at least 10 years, but it was so much fun!!  The boys loved learning to eat with chopsticks and were even pretty good at it.

The kids and I didn't have time to make our usual homemade cake, so red velvet cupcakes it is!

Easter

The past couple of years we have had family in town for Easter, but this year it was just our sweet family.  We had planned our annual brunch with Matt and Elizabeth Thomason; however, Luke got a stomach virus Friday night and it lasted well into Sunday.  So our Easter was a bit of a letdown, mainly because we didn't get to go to church as a family (Brad stayed home with Luke).

Even with a stomach virus, we did enjoy dying Easter eggs and playing with confetti eggs.

Bright and sunny after church

Bless his heart: he HATES pictures, and he didn't feel good....

Natalie's sweet friend Kate Evans had a birthday party, and I thought these were sweet pictures
