Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to this very special dad!  He's the best, and we are so glad that he is ours.

Brad and James got invited to a Father-Son fishing day at a friend's ranch outside of town the Saturday before Father's Day.  I think both had a fun time catching and eating fish.

This was my attempt to get a Facebook/Instagram worthy picture of our special dad.

Oh well.........Hope all the dads had a fantastic day!  We are so blessed to have these special men in our lives.

Summer Days

Summer is off to a great start.  The kids are in camp during the day (which makes me sad), but we are taking advantage of the more relaxed mornings and evenings.

These two still love a tea party, especially when it involves dressing up (Luke is wearing Natalie's pink apron and a construction hat).

What can I say, we are big fans of costumes at our house.

Nothing says "intimidation" like a paci

Natalie has started being the "teacher/camp leader" during our nightly story time.  We all sit on the couch while she stands up and reads a story.

Can We Go Back to Seaside?

Last month we spent a perfect week in Seaside, FL.  We always take a family vacation to Florida, and this was our first trip to Seaside.  We loved the beach, the time together, the perfect weather, the seashells, and the lazy days.  As is par for the course, I apologize for the close to 70 pictures in the post.  Well, who am I kidding, no I don't.  I love them all.

These babies loved the beach!!  There was a lot of jumping in the water, building volcanoes, and seashell hunting.

Is that not the happiest face you've ever seen?

The boy could have stayed on the beach all day playing in the sand and hunting seashells.

And no matter where he is, if there is a hot wheels or truck involved, Luke is happy.

We took a day trip over to Destin to visit Aunt Susan, and it was the highlight of the trip for these three babies.  Apparently Destin has a better seashell collection, which made James and Natalie VERY happy.  And Aunt Susan is the best seashell hunter.

We absolutely loved the town of Seaside.  It's so quaint and laid back.  There was a town square and a large green space where we went each night.  We'd grab dinner, a to-go glass of wine and let the kids play frisbee or kick ball.  Perfect.

And this cutie loved his watermelon,  It must be good to have such body confidence

This family vacation is our favorite trip each year.  Look at the changes in these sweet babies....
