Our weekends have been so busy lately, which has caused me to get very behind on the Blog...
We went to Green Bay last month for a weekend full of snow, sledding, hot chocolate and COLD weather. These three were very excited to trade Houston's 80 degree weather for Green Bay's single digits.
We spent most of the time outside, bundled up playing in the snow.
There were a lot of snow angels......
Luke was a bit apprehensive at first, but he quickly joined in on the fun

These snow babies drank a lot, and I mean a lot, of hot chocolate. Luke wore the hot pink long johns like a champ......
James had no fear. And he and Granddaddy had a lot of fun gathering huge icicles.
It snowed most days, and the snow was the perfect, fluffy snow. As wonderful as it was, it made making a snowman a bit harder. Brad, ever the great dad, filled many a pans with water to wet the snow so James could make Fluffy.
We took in two Phoenix basketball games during our visit, and both we thrilling! It pays to know the President of the University.
When these three weren't outside, they were usually in front of the TV watching Mary Poppins. Grandmama introduced one of my favorite movies, and most nights were spent having a picnic dinner watching MP.
And I had to include this last picture. I packed James's clothes in his little suitcase, fully expecting that James would help carry it through the airport. HOWEVER, Luke had other plans. After upacking James's clothes multiple times, he insisted on carrying the suitcase the entire trip.
We had such a special visit and can't wait to go back next year.
