Summer Baseball

As much as spring baseball can wear on us, summer baseball is a blast.  It's more laid back and just games with friends.  James's coach, Jason Kates, has coached ever season that we've played, which is pretty special---great group!

Grandmama was in town for a game, and James hit his first (in the park) home run!

And superheroes to cheer him on!

Funny story: Our sitter (Abby) took the kids to the library one day, and Luke peed on the floor in the bathroom and wouldn't help clean it up.  Luke refused to tell Brad what happened, and I told him he could not leave our bathroom until he told Brad.  Well, I took James to his game and Brad texted me this picture----kid slept in the bathroom so as not to have to tell Brad. (he eventually did tell Brad, but he dug his heels in a bit).

Happy July 4th!

We love July 4th around here!  Our neighborhood has the cutest parade, and this year we went to a friend's neighborhood for swimming/July 4th party.  As usual, it was H-O-T.

Fun with the Garrets (James Thomas and Henry) at the swimming party!

Luke LOVED this slide!

sweet Zoe lives in the same neighborhood!
'Merica!

Sweet babies dressed for church before the 4th-----Natalie and I had just returned from MS after being gone a week, and these three were happy to be back together.
