Easter

As I said last year, Easter has quickly become one of my favorite holidays.  I love the Christmas season, but for the actual day, it has to be Easter.  I love the celebration of the Resurrection, the music, the joy of it.  Throw in great weather and time with my parents, and I'm a fan.

Our neighborhood egg hunt: Luke wanted nothing to do with the bunny or the egg hunt.  Natalie loved every minute of it, and photo bombed every Easter bunny picture.  (James and Brad were camping this weekend).

sweet Ella!

dumped out every. single. egg.

Two very different reactions to the egg hunt.  Poor Lukey

Natalie's school Easter hat parade.

For the second year Reet Reet and Papi have joined us for Easter.  We had a great time dying eggs, going to our church's egg hunt/Easter bunny and a brunch after church.  We thoroughly enjoyed the Easter weekend, and I even did the impossible: a picture of all three kiddos dressed and smiling!!  #winning.

Keeping with his utter hatred, Luke wanted nothing to do with our church Easter bunny or egg hunt.  Again, he dumped out every. single. egg.  Dad and I tried to put some in his basket, but he would not have any of it.  Meanwhile, James and Natalie sat unashamedly taking inventory of their loot.

If this picture doesn't describe the day, I don't know what does.

Easter egg dying was more successful, depending on who you ask.  Poor Luke: typical third child.  We bought a dozen (white) eggs for Natalie and James, but all that was left in the fridge for Luke was a dozen of organic, cage free brown eggs.  His eggs had a "vintage" feel.  (per the pictures, Papi was supervising at the other end of the table).

And here it is: the picture miracle!  I love all of these sweet pictures of these sweet babies!  We had a very joyous Easter all around!!

And one random picture: Natalie's teacher had a shipment of costumes, and the kids had fun dressing up one day.  Well, everyone but Natalie.  She said the face mask was too tight.
