CFB Semifinal - Alabama vs. Clemson

Alabama played Clemson for a third straight year in the College Football Playoffs. The newly formed rivalry was knotted at 1-1 in the CFB Playoffs, so it was a no-brainer James needed to be there. James opened up the tickets on Christmas morning as a present from Mom and Dad. Never seen such an excited reaction.

We were flying in and out of Dallas from Wisconsin on New Year's day, so I booked James and I a flight from Dallas to New Orleans. We landed at 5 pm for the 7:45 kickoff. We watched the Georgia vs. Oklahoma semifinal game on the flight there. Go Georgia!

Touched down in NOLA with the #1 Bama fan at 5:10 pm. Ready to watch the Tide

When we landed in NO, we headed to the team hotel. There were tons of Alabama fans and truly a great atmosphere. We walked over to the Superdome about 7 pm.

We had great seats and it was a great game. Alabama rolled 24-6. Roll Tide

After the game, we went back to the team hotel to wait on the team. My phone was dead at this point, so no pictures.... but James met one of his favorite players, Bo Scarborough (RB). He also talked to Chris Owens and enjoyed congratulating and cheering for the team as they arrived. Roll Tide!
