Our first full day together, Brad led us on a hike to Hamilton Pool Preserve. It was beautiful---cool, crisp weather and wonderful scenery!!
While hiking around the upper rim of the pool/spring, James requested that I take this hiking picture.
And then Luke posed for his own....

Eventually all of the kids were down to the bare minimum and playing in the pool, but these two definitely led the charge!

Giant leaves as covering!
We even found ducks to feed!
We had a couple of falls/slips/near death experience (John Brannon and Mrs. Georgia), but we had a GREAT time!
Most of the remaining time was spent playing, reading, cooking, relaxing--with a few yells/screams/chaos thrown in for good measure.

The girls finished what was quite possibly the HARDEST puzzle--EVER!
Adults dinner in Austin at ATX Cocina. Such a delicious meal at the restaurant owned by one of Rosemary's best friend's husband.
Dripping Springs Turkey Trot (5k) with friends, the Collins and Garrets. It was COLD, but worth it!
The Thanksgiving meal was delicious--interesting, but delicious. We only had one oven and ended up having to "fry" the dressing on the stove top. We ran a couple of hours behind, but it was worth it! And we are all trying to forget the island bar sink overflowing with disposal back up----a plumber came to our rescue around 11:00 pm. :)
It was a great week of thanksgiving and celebrating Mrs. Georgia
