The End of Things

May brought the end of a lot of things around here: baseball, gymnastics, school and early mornings.

James's baseball team-the RedHawks-won their division but lost in the first round of the playoffs, which I didn't mind one bit.  I gripe at times at the time commitment of baseball, but it is always the best experience.  The growth from last year is pretty amazing, and we had a lot of fun with the friends on the team.  At our last game a dad on the other team knew our coach and is a wonderful photographer.  He took pictures of both teams throughout the game and sent them to us!  I love James's concentration!

And then my meager attempt to get an action shot.  Not quite the same result

The RedHawk motto: Love Hard, Play Well, Go RedHawks!

Natalie's gymnastics class did a small performance for the end of their spring class.  The class meets at 4:00 and she rides with Zoe each week.  I have only made it to one other class, but I was glad to be able to see what all she has learned.  She is as much of a performer as she is a gymnast!  I took videos of her routines, but here are some warm up and podium shots.

May brought the end of kindergarten, pre-k3 and Luke's sweet little class.  Everyone will be in new classes/schools next year, but we have been so thankful for this year.

Natalie had the most amazing teacher, Ms. Blythe.  She loved Natalie and really worked with her on her speech.  She was so creative and we will always be thankful that Natalie had her for a teacher.

James learned so much this year with Mrs. Browne,  His reading astounds me each time, and he really grew in his behavior.  His hard to believe how far he has come since last year--no longer a little boy.

And then sweet Lukey is leaving Ms. Lilliam's class.  Ms. Lilliam also taught Natalie, but I don't think I have ever had someone love my child as much as Lilliam loved Luke.  In her class he developed his speech more and was potty trained!

A few random pictures of sweet Luke.  One of the boys (Oliver) on James's team has an older sister, Sienna, and Luke was totally in awe of her.  He sat like this for 5 minutes staring at Sienna, and after this game he has talked of nothing other than Sienna.

He made this face during the entire haircut.
