No More Babies

For the past several weeks I have been completely nostalgic about the fact that there are no more babies in my house.  Much to my delight, Luke is fully potty trained and sleeping in a big boy bed.  While this milestone makes life a little easier, it also makes life a little sad.  This is the first time in seven years (7!) that there hasn't been a baby around.  I am missing it.

I think part of my sadness is the fact that I realize that the kiddos are growing up so quickly.  I want things to stay just as they are.  We may be in the perfect season of life: all three are a little independent, but they still come and crawl in our bed and laps, they still share every little detail and thought, we are still the biggest part of their happy world.  It aches my heart to think of things ever changing.

Some of my favorite pictures of these babies
