Nix: Party of 5: A Year in Review

2015: What a Year! Each kid grew so much this year, and looking back at all that we have done this year tugs at my heart. Luke learned to walk, Natalie started school, James started playing sports, we traveled and visited a lot of family, Natalie had a dance recital, Brad totaled his 4Runner but was unharmed, both Luke and Natalie had minor surgeries/medical procedures with no complications, we swam A LOT, saw Garth Brooks in concert, James began readings, Brad ran a half and full marathon, I started work full time (and will switch jobs Jan. 4th, hopefully for the final time), the holidays were magical, and last but not least, Ole Miss had a phenomenal year in football :)

Look how little these two were this time last year in Green Bay (before I started blogging). They were so excited to see snow, even if it was just an inch or two.

Brad ran the Houston Half Marathon and The Woodlands Full Marathon at the beginning of the year. We were all so proud, even if the kids don't convey the excitement in the picture. For the Full Marathon, we were waiting right before the finish line, and James actually ran the last part and crossed the finish line with Brad.
